Sparks games are a blast
I and my 12 & 18 year old sons had a blast at the Sparks game last night. It was the first WNBA basketball game we had ever been too. We live in Victorville, but the drive was so worth it. We hope to be able to attend other Spark games in the future. My 12 year old son was picked as one of the 10 fans to go on the court before game time and got to meet the players along with he got a free basketball and a voucher to get autographs from 2 of the players after the game. The employees and players were real nice and made our first experience a fun one that we will always remember.
SPARKS WIN!
I took my family to our first ever WNBA game -- SPARKS vs SKY. Not a huge follower of the women's game, I didn't know exactly what to expect. However, my eldest daughter now 8 is a huge hoops fan and has being playing since she was 5. Fgured it would be good to have her see a professional women's game in person to see the difference between the ladies and the men (NBA). My daughter loved it! The action was great, the teams ran plays that my daughter could follow, overall an entertaining game! The crowd was supportive and the Staples staff definitely more laid back and interacted with the fans more than if it were a Lakers or Clippers game - appropriate for event and definitely a plus for the overall experience! ...and the SPARKS pulled out a victory in what was a fairly close game throughout!
